Engaging Students for Social Change
CDWN works closely with school students to address harmful social norms such as gender discrimination, caste-based exclusion, child marriage, and violence. Through awareness sessions, interactive learning activities, debates, art and essay competitions, and school-based campaigns, students are supported to develop critical thinking, leadership, and civic responsibility.
CDWN also promotes democratic values, human rights, and social inclusion by engaging students in discussions on equality, participation, and respectful coexistence. To ensure that economic barriers do not limit educational opportunities, CDWN provides scholarships to students from Dalit and other marginalized communities, supporting their continued education and long-term empowerment. By working at the school level, CDWN aims to nurture informed, confident, and socially responsible young citizens who contribute to positive change in their families and communities.
